DePuy Synthes launches new arthroscopic solutions — 4 observations

New Brunswick, N.J.-based DePuy Synthes Mitek Sports Medicine released a new suite of arthroscopic devices.

1. The new suite of products expands DePuy Synthes’ knee arthroscopy portfolio and combines performance with simple solutions for every step of the procedure.

 

2. Roughly 580,000 meniscal repairs took place in 2016 while ACL surgeries totaled over 865,000.

 

3. DePuy Synthes Mitek Sports Medicine’s new portfolio includes the SPEEDTRAP Graft Prep System, TRUESPAN Meniscal Repair System, TWISTR Retrograde Reamer, RIGIDLOOP Adjustable Cortical System and INTRAFIX ADVANCE Tibial Fastener System.

 

4. DePuy Synthes Platform Leader Matt Jewett said, “We recognize that our customers need solutions for knee arthroscopy that deliver performance, reproducibility and operating room efficiency.”
