Max is headquartered at OhioHealth’s McConnell Heart and Health Campus and includes 33 staff members at four locations in addition to the physicians. The practice offers primary care and sports medicine for school-age, college and professional patients as well as active adults. Physicians at Max also serve as team physicians for local colleges, universities and area high schools.
Details of the acquisition were not released, but Max will retain its employees, branches and name, according to the report. Max will be part of the more than 200-physician OhioHealth Medical Specialty Foundation.
