The study involved 325 knee osteoarthritis patients who received total knee arthroplasty with the Medial-Pivot Knee System. “KAT” General Hospital researchers in Athens, Greece, conducted the study.

Here are four observations:
1. Of the patients, 95 percent reported excellence clinical outcomes for satisfaction at 17 years.
2. The implant has 98.8 percent survivorship at 17 years.
3. Ninety-four percent of patients could perform age-appropriate activities with average knee flexion of 120 degrees.
4. Of the studied patients, 98 percent noted excellent, very good or good pain relief.
