Medtronic spine strongly performs in Q3 2017 with revenue of $657M — 4 things to know

Dublin, Ireland-based Medtronic reported its third quarter financial results, ended Jan. 27, 2017, on Feb. 21. The company’s Memphis, Tenn.-based spine division reported its best performance in seven years, according to Memphis Business Journal.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Medtronic’s Restorative Therapies Group, inclusive of the spine division, saw global revenue of $1.8 billion for the quarter.

 

2. The company’s Q3 spine revenue totaled $657 million.

 

3. Medtronic’s core spine products and bone morphogenetic proteins sector grew in the low single digits.

 

4. Medtronic spine saw year-over-year revenue growth in every region.
