San Francisco Shoulder, Elbow & Hand Clinic merges with California Pacific Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine: 5 key points

Two of San Francisco’s longest established orthopedic groups merged to form California Pacific Orthopaedics.

1.  San Francisco Shoulder, Elbow & Hand Clinic teamed up with California Pacific Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine to form the new practice.

 

2. The merger created one of the largest orthopedic private practices in San Francisco.

 

3. California Pacific Orthopaedics has four clinics spanning the area.

 

4. The practice’s providers have fellowship training in areas including foot and ankle, hand and wrist, hip and knee, shoulder and elbow surgery, total joint replacement, sports medicine and spine.

 

5. Peter Callander, MD, California Pacific Orthopaedics’ board chairman, said, “Now as a combined practice we can collaborate more closely to provide patients with excellent and individualized musculoskeletal care, from non-operative sports medicine and interventional spine to the most complex of orthopedic surgeries.”
