He is affiliated with Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Illinois-based Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. He has served as the president of the Scoliosis Research Society, and holds addition memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
Dr. Ibrahim earned his medical degree at School Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. He went on to complete residency in orthopedic surgery at McMaster University Hospital and residency in pediatric orthopedic surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children, both located in Ontario, Canada. He performed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Alfred I. duPont Institute in Delaware.
