Dr. Lowen specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from the Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan. He completed his residency at Washington University of St. Louis before his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Lowen helped opened the Florida Back Institute in 2000.
He is a member of several professional societies including the North American Spine Society and International Spinal Injection Society.
