Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Raymond Haroun of Maryland Spine and Brain Specialists

Raymond Haroun, MD, is a spine surgeon at Baltimore’s Maryland Spine and Brain Specialists.

Dr. Haroun specializes in complex spine surgery and treating brain and spinal tumors.

 

His career began after he earned his medical degree from New York’s Columbia University. He then completed a residency and a dual-fellowship in spine surgery and brain tumors at Baltimore’s John Hopkins Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Haroun received many honors including the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Award for humanism in medicine.

Dr. Haroun is an accomplished researcher with more than 30 author credits to his name. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
