Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Michael Calhoun of Arkansas Surgical Hospital

Michael Calhoun, MD, is a spine surgery at North Little Rock’s Arkansas Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Calhoun specializes in surgery of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves.

 

His career began after he earned his medical degree from Fayetteville-based University of Arkansas for Medical Science. He stayed at the university for his internship and residency.

 

Dr. Calhoun is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons and a member of several other professional societies.

 

He is enjoys golfing and he lives in Arkansas with his wife and two children.
