Surgeons complete 1.5k surgeries using Zimmer Biomet’s Vitality System — 5 highlights

Surgeons have utilized Broomfield, Colo.-based Zimmer Biomet’s Vitality Spinal Fixation System in 1,500 surgeries.

1. Zimmer Biomet introduced the system in June 2016, designing it with anatomic challenges in mind.

 

2. The Vitality system is designed for spinal fixation in complex thoracolumbar procedures.

 

3. The technology encourages versatility and efficiency with multiple dual-lead pedicle screw choices.

 

4. Vitality’s screws and closure tops will work with a 5.5 mm or 6 mm rod.

 

5. Furthermore, the system features a friction fit tulip, which helps decrease the “fiddle factor.”
