A new report in McClatchy DC outlines the differences between each campaign and what would happen if each candidate were elected president.
Here is what would happen if Ms. Clinton were elected, based on her campaign’s stance today:
• She would pursue the 19 states that haven’t expanded Medicaid under the ACA
• Three years of funding for any of the 19 states that hasn’t expanded Medicaid to do so
• Additional beneficiaries means additional costs
Here is what would happen if Mr. Trump were elected, based on his campaign’s stance today:
• The Medicaid expansion would be reversed
• Medicaid would be replaced with a limited block grant
