2. A director of AbioMed, Mr. Thomas also serves as a director of Aegerion Pharmaceuticals and RTI Surgical.
3. He used to serve as chairman, CEO and president of regenerative medicine company, LifeCell (acquired by KCI).
4. He also held several senior positions at inhalation anesthetics and acute care pharmaceutical company, Ohmeda, at which he worked for 15 years.
5. Mr. Thomas earned his master of business administration degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York City.
