Dr. Maxwell serves as the neurosurgeon reviewer for Alaska’s Board of Medicine. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
Journal of Neurosurgery and International Journal of Oncology have published his research.
After obtaining his medical degree from Cambridge University in England, Dr. Maxwell completed his neurosurgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Maxwell also earned a doctorate degree in molecular cancer biology brain tumors from Oxford University in England.
