Author of “Comprehensive Neurosurgical Board Review,” “Essential Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology” and “Neuroradiology and Neuropathology: text and atlas,” Dr. Citow also wrote “Neurosurgery Oral Board Review” and “Neurosurgical Board Review Questions and Answers for Self-Assessment.”
Dr. Citow sits on the submission review board of Spinal Cord, and invented the spinal device, Citow Cervical Visualizer.
After obtaining his medical degree from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Citow completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
