1. Dr. Williams will transplant the cartilage in Mr. Adams’ right knee.

 

2. Dr. Williams is the knee group leader of the sports medicine and shoulder service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

 

3. He is also director of the Institute for Cartilage Repair at Hospital for Special Surgery.

 

4. He is the medical director and head team orthopedic surgeon for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Red Bulls.
