Health Outcome launches patient crowdsourcing platform to share treatment outcomes: 3 key notes

Health Outcome, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based consumer website, launched a crowdsourcing platform for patients to share their healthcare treatment experiences.

Here are three key notes:

 

1. Patients have already contributed more than 50,000 treatment ratings.

 

2. About 25,000 ratings included back pain treatments, of which 84 percent of patients noted they are still experiencing pain post-surgery.

 

3. The platform’s purpose is to offer objective information about various treatment outcomes.
