1. Dr. Gibbons is an associate professor and vice chair of the neurosurgery department at the UB Jacobs School of Medicine. He directs the neurosurgery department’s residency program.
2. He is also chief of neurosurgery at Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health; and medical director of operational performance and physician director of surgical services at Buffalo General Medical Center and Gates Vascular Institute, also in Buffalo.
3. Dr. Gibbons’ research has been published in prestigious journals, including Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care.
4. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
