Neurosurgeon Mark Giovanini, MD, of Pensacola, Fla.-based NeuroMicroSpine, and orthopedic surgeon Neil Romero, MD, of Lafayette, La.-based Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists, implanted LDR’s ROI-C Titanium-Coated Cervical Cage in the first cases.

1. The ROI-C Titanium-Coated Cervical Cage is designed for patients with cervical spine degenerative disc disease.

 

2. The cage is offered in four footprints, five heights and in an anatomic dome or flat lordotic implant design. The system features titanium coating on the superior and inferior surfaces of the radiolucent PEEK-OPTIMA cage.

 

3. The system is intended for use with autogenous or allogenic bone graft.

 

4. Dr. Giovanini completed his neurosurgical residency at University of Florida at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
