Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Christopher Koebbe of Florida Spine Institute

Christopher J. Koebbe, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon serving patients at Florida Spine Institute’s Clearwater and St. Petersburg locations.

He specializes in spinal neurosurgery as well as cranial and minimally invasive vascular procedures. Dr. Koebbe treats spinal disorders, chronic pain, brain aneurysms, stroke and tumors.

 

Dr. Koebbe was a U.S. Air Force active duty neurosurgeon in San Antonio until 2015. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Koebbe completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then completed his cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
