2. The organizations take the data and evaluate it. Then, the organizations use their assessment to advise providers on best practices to combat future patient safety issues.
3. The HHS’ Office for Civil Rights and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality jointly issue the guidance.
4. The 22-page guidance aims to promote healthcare transparency.
