Southern Hills Hospital opens $14M orthopedic, spine unit — 3 highlights

Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas opened a new orthopedic and spine unit, according to VegasInc.

Here are three highlights:

 

1. The new unit has 46 beds and is located on the hospital’s fifth floor.

 

2. The $14 million expansion replaces the existing orthopedic unit on the third floor.

 

3. The old orthopedic unit will be converted into an expanded intensive care unit and a new intermediate care unit.
