Inova Neuroscience Institute invests in Synaptive’s neurosurgical technology: 5 points

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and Inova Neuroscience Institute in Fall Church, Va., purchased Synaptive Medical’s BrightMatter Surgical Solution.

1. The hospital is the first in the Mid-Atlantic area to invest in the technology.

 

2. The BrightMatter system offers strategic planning, surgical navigation and intraoperative tissue visualization via optics and robotic manipulation.

 

3. The system generates a detailed three-dimensional representation of a patient’s fiber tracts in just a few minutes.

 

4. Synaptive Medical and the Inova Neuroscience Institute are also collaborating on a research project to optimize their existing systems.

 

5. Synaptive Medical is based in Toronto and offers neurological technologies and therapies.
