Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Craig Capeci of NYU Langone Medical Center

Craig Capeci, MD, is a practicing orthopedic surgeon and clinical assistant professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. He focuses on arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Capeci has a professional interest in knee arthroscopy, knee ligament tear, ACL tear, total knee replacement, hip arthroscopy, total hip replacement surgery and shoulder replacement. His research interests include hip arthroscopy, posterior cruciate ligament injury, osteochondral defects of the knee and patellofemoral alignment of the knee. His work has been published in professional journals such as Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and Journal of Arthroplasty.

 

Dr. Capeci completed his medical degree at New York University and his residency at NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
