Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Thomas Cha of Massachusetts General Hospital

Thomas D. Cha, MD, MBA, is an orthopedic spine surgeon in Boston, specializing in the treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal disorders. He serves as an orthopedic surgery instructor at Boston-based Harvard Medical School.

His research interests include the biological and biomechanical facets of spinal disorders. Spine and Arthritis and Arthroplasty: The Spine, among others, have published his work.

 

After obtaining his medical degree from Drexel University of College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Cha completed his residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He completed his fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He also earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Drexel University.
