Dr. Jeffrey Fischgrund to serve as medical champion for arthritis walk — 3 quick notes

Jeffrey S. Fischgrund, MD, chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery and associate CMO at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., will serve as medical champion for the annual Walk to Cure Arthritis event held on May 21 at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, Mich., according to the Oakland Press.

Here are three quick notes:

 

1. Rachel S. Rohde, MD, associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Mich., will serve alongside Dr. Fischgrund.

 

2. The Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature, nationwide event that raises funds to find a cure and champion the fight against arthritis.

 

3. More than 3,000 supporters are expected to participate in this year’s Detroit event.
