Here are three highlights:

1. Fusiform creates orthotics with a tablet-mounted three-dimensional scanner. Developing software, Cast, will allow a view of the model and provide communication between a clinic and custom fabricator.

The startup also wants to cut down the wait-time for orthotics delivery by helping clinics produce the devices immediately.

2. Greater Baltimore Health Improvement Initiative focuses on determining pre-clinic factors that lead to certain health outcomes.

The startup gathered data about people’s health decision drivers, and plans to host a teen summit to encourage healthy activity.

3. B’More Health Teaching Kitchen offers supermarket trips, nutrition lessons and cooking lessons to inspire healthy living.
