Here are five key notes:

1. Christian Bean, MD, and Christopher Meriam, MD, of Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery will merge with Mahlon Bradley, MD, and Sara Graves, MD, into a single practice.

2. Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery will remain in its current location for now.

3. The merger is part of a larger combination where the Central Vermont Medical Center orthopedic practices will eventually move to a new facility in the fall.

4. The larger facility will include general orthopedics, spine care and podiatry adjacent to Vermont Medical Center’s rehabilitation therapy and wound care operations.

5. Green Mountain Orthopaedic Surgery is a practice philosophy, using high-tech digital x-ray equipment and electronic medical records to lower the environmental impact while improving patient safety.
