Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Fernando Sanchez of Tulane University School of Medicine

Fernando L. Sanchez, MD, is a practicing orthopedist and assistant professor of clinical orthopedics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He is certified American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and focuses on adult reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Sanchez has published a number of journal articles and book chapters. His work has been published in prestigious journals in Orthopaedic Clinics of North America and Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics.

 

Dr. Sanchez earned his medical degree at Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud CES Medical School in Columbia. His completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has also completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at Anderson Orthopaedics Research Institute in Alexandria, Va.
