Dr. DeVault has a professional interest in sports medicine. After studying the demographics of Swainsboro and the surrounding areas, Dr. DeVault decided there was a need for orthopedic assistance. He plans on bringing up-to-date technology to his new treatment area by selecting proper treatment for patients as well as providing training to physical therapists, operating room personnel and other hospital employees in the area.
Dr. DeVault earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine and joint replacement at Jewette Orthopedic Clinic in Orlando.
