Dr. Daniel Alexander donates $1M to build community center: 3 things to know

Daniel Alexander, MD, owner of Geneva, N.Y.-based Finger Lakes Bone and Joint Center, donated $1 million toward building a new community center in Buffalo, N.Y., according to a WIVB report.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. The Seneca Babcock Community Center is expected to cost a little over $6 million.

 

2. The center will offer Buffalo residents a range of services, including financial management education.

 

3. Dr. Alexander is a fellow of the American Association of Orthopaedics Surgeons, and he focuses on rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, joint replacement and orthopedic trauma.
