3 things to know about the 1st procedure with ROSA Brain system in Australia

Mater Hospital in Brsibane, Australia, hosted the country’s first procedure with Medtech’s ROSA Brain system, according to pharmiweb.com.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. The ROSA Brain system helped Dr. Jason Papacostas perform a stereoelectroencephalography procedure on a patient with epilepsy.

 

2. Dr. Papacostas noted he reduced the surgery time from six hours to two hours because of the ROSA device.

 

3. Medtech is based in Montpellier, France.
