St. Thomas More Hospital’s orthopedics department expands — 6 takeaways

St. Thomas More Hospital’s orthopedic clinic in Cañon City, Colo., is expanding, according to the The Daily Record.

1. The expansion is to better meet the needs of the community, allowing patients to receive services close to home.

 

2. The orthopedic surgery team now includes:

 

  • Keith P. Minihane, MD;
  • Lee A. McFadden, MD;
  • Jacob F. Patterson, MD.

 

3. St. Thomas More is a partner with the Arkansas Valley Surgery Center in Cañon City.

 

4. Dr. Minihane, who joined the practice in 2013, previously served in the U.S. Army as an orthopedic surgeon and provided care for soldiers and their families in Fort Carson, Colo., and South Korea. He is providing services in knees, shoulders and upper extremity.

 

5. Dr. McFadden is credentialed to offer to anterior hip approach for total hip replacement.

 

6. Dr. Patterson has been serving the community for 25 years alongside Eric Carlson, MD, who recently retired.
