American Joint Replacement Registry adds 2 new board members: 4 notes

The American Joint Replacement Registry added two new members to its 2016 board of directors.

Here are four notes:

 

1. The AJRR added Douglas E. Padgett, MD, as an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons representative.

 

2. The registry also added Yvonne Bokelman, MD, as an AdvaMed representative.

 

3. E. Anthony Rankin, MD, and Pamela L. Plouhar, PhD, are stepping down as AAOS representative and AdvaMed representative, respectively.

 

4. The AJRR is comprised of members representing the AJRR, AAOS, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, The Hip Society, The Knee Society, payers and the public.
