K2M receives CE Mark for RHINE Cervical Disc System: 4 notes

K2M Group received a CE Mark for the RHINE Cervical Disc System.

Here are four notes:

 

1. The next-generation system is intended for cervical artificial disc replacement and features proprietary molding technology.

 

2. It includes a one-piece compressible polymer core design with dome-shaped, plasma-coated endplates and a central-split keel.

 

3. The first single- and multi-level surgical procedures using the system were recently completed in Belgium and Germany.

 

4. The CE Mark allows for sale and distribution of the product within Europe and other countries.
