Arizona’s Drs. Michael Domer and Sheldan Martin become team physicians for local athletes — 4 highlights

Michael Domer, MD, and Sheldan Martin, MD, of OrthoArizona in Phoenix are now team physicians to some of Arizona’s top student and professional athletes.

Here are four highlights:

 

1. Dr. Domer is team physician for Shadow Mountain High School and the Arizona Rattlers. He specializes in sports-related injuries including minimally invasive techniques. He is affiliated with Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, Gateway Surgery Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, OASIS Hospital and John C. Lincoln.

 

2. Dr. Martin serves as team physician for Desert Vista High School and Veritas Preparatory Academy, as well as head team physician for the Arizona Rattlers Arena Football League and team physician for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Arizona Coyotes. He specializes in complex arthroscopic surgery, including ligament reconstruction, cartilage transplants, shoulder and elbow joint replacements and reverse shoulder replacements.

 

3. Dr. Domer earned his medical degree from St. Louis University and completed his residency at Marciopa Integrated Health Systems in Phoenix.

 

4. Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and his fellowship at OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine & Shoulder Elbow Center Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.
