Capital Medical Center is 1st in Washington to offer Mazor’s Renaissance system: 3 notes

Capital Medical Center in Olympia, Wash., is the first in the state to offer spine surgery procedures with the Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System, according to a Thurston Talk report.

Here are three notes:

 

1. The technology is a minimally invasive surgical option for spine surgery, including spinal fusion, vertebroplasty and scoliosis correction.

 

2. The Renaissance system allows surgeons to pre-plan the surgery using a CT-based 3-D simulation of the patient’s spine.

 

3. Capital Medical Center is a 110-bed full-service hospital.
