FDA clears exports of MiMedx allografts — 4 highlights

MiMedx received a certificate from the FDA allowing the export of MiMedx allografts.

1. The company’s AmnioFix and EpiFix are among the products listed.

 

2. The certificate stated MiMedx human cells, tissues and cellular and tissue-based products may be marketed in and legally exported from the United States.

 

3. It also states that in the last inspection the plants at that time appeared to be in compliance with FDA regulation.

 

4. MiMedx is an integrated developer, processor and marketer of patent protected proprietary regenerative biomaterial products and bioimplants processed from human amniotic membrane and other birth tissues.
