4 things to know about Transylvania Regional Hospital expanding its pain management service

Brevard, N.C.-based Transylvania Regional Hospital is expanding its pain management services on the hospital’s campus, according to Citizen-Times.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The expansion intends to provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing chronic pain in Transylvania County and surrounding communities.

 

2. Last week, Ed Lewis, MD, and Leland Berkwits, MD, began seeing patients at the Mission Pain Management office.

 

3. The hospital has a team of counselors and other advanced caregivers who give patients a comprehensive, individualized care plan to minimize or eliminate pain.

 

4. Travis Hecker, MD, and Javid Baksh, MD, will also see patients at the clinic.
