Martin O’Malley, MD, performed ankle surgery on Milwaukee Bucks guard Grievis Vasquez, according to a NBC Sports report.

1. Mr. Vasquez underwent the surgery to remove a bone spur and loose bodies from his right ankle.

 

2. Dr. O’Malley is an associate attending orthopedic surgeon and fellowship director of the foot and ankle service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

 
3. He has a professional interest in total ankle replacement, arthroscopy of ankle and post-traumatic reconstruction of the foot and ankle.

 
4. He is a member of the Brooklyn Nets’ medical staff and is the foot and ankle consultant for the New York Knicks.

 

5. He completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery.
