Cutting Edge Spine’s True Oblique Lordotic implant used in 1st surgeries: 4 key notes

The first successful surgical implantations of Cutting Edge Spine’s True Oblique Lordotic have been completed.

1. The cases were performed by Michael D. Mitchell, MD, of Mary Black Health System in Spartanburg, S.C.

 

2. The True Oblique Lordotic implant is made from innovative PEEK-OPTIMA HA Enhanced, offered by Invibio.

 

3. The implant is “anatomically contoured to provide correct lordosis when placed in an oblique position, either through a posterior or a transforaminal approach,” said Dr. Mitchell.

 

4. Cutting Edge Spine is currently in the process of commercializing the new technology.
