Dr. James Andrews to perform surgery on Ravens’ Joe Flacco — 4 highlights

Orthopedic surgeon James Andrews, MD, will perform ACL repair surgery on Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. Mr. Flacco injured his knee during a game against the St. Louis Rams, according to Baltimore Ravens.

3. Dr. Andrews is a co-founder of the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., and the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

 

4. Previously, Dr. Andrews was the president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
