Dr. Joshua Jones becomes international ambassador of Global Alliance for Musculoskeletal Health: 5 key notes

Joshua J. Jones, MD, will serve as an international ambassador of the Global Alliance for Musculoskeletal Health of the Bone & Joint Decade, according to AAOS Now.

1. Dr. Jones is the clinical assistant professor at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Science and State University of New York at Buffalo. He has a special interest in hand and upper extremity surgery.

 

2. He earned board certification at American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

3. Dr. Jones sees patients at Amherst and Orchard Park as well as ECMC, where he also takes orthopedic trauma call.

 

4. He earned a medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency at SUNY at Buffalo.

 

5. Dr. Jones completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at SUNY at Buffalo from 2011 to 2012.
