1. Bioventus is an orthobiologics company and BioStructures is a medical device company focused on developing bioresorbable bone graft products for spinal and orthopedic fusion procedures.
2. The agreement includes the acquisition of BioStructures’ entire portfolio of products as well as its research and development pipeline.
3. The BioStructures product portfolio includes synthetic, allograft, collagen and demineralized bone matrix solutions.
4. The company’s signature products include the Interface Bioactive Bonegraft and Signafuse Bioactive Bonegraft Putty.
5. In addition, employees of BioStructures will be given offers to join Bioventus.
6. Bioventus will continue to work with the current network of distributors carrying the BioStructures product portfolio.
7. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
