Here are five notes:
1. Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital campus will open the institute in spring 2016.
2. The institute will offer sports medicine professionals’ insight, human performance testing and training for athletes and sports nutrition counseling.
3. This location will also include an outdoor sports field for physical therapy, rehabilitation and testing.
4. University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School orthopedic surgeons will provide services at the institute.
5. The 15,000-square-foot building is part of a $93 million campus expansion.
