Greatbatch has completed its $1.73 billion acquisition of Lake Region Medical.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The acquisition makes Greatbatch one of the largest medical device outsourcing manufacturers in the world.

 

2. The combined revenues of the companies total approximately $1.5 billion.

 

3. Greatbatch announced that it will rename the combined entity Integer Holdings Corporation. The entity will continue to serve the serving the cardiac, neuromodulation, orthopedic, vascular as well as advanced surgical and portable medical markets.

 

4. In connection with the acquisition, Greatbatch secured a $1.96 billion financing package led by M&T Bank Corporation, Credit Suisse and KeyBanc Capital Markets.
