Dr. James Andrews, Robert Hancock perform knee surgery on UGA star tailback Nick Chubb: 3 things to know

James Andrews, MD, and Robert E. Hancock, MD, performed knee surgery on University of Georgia star tailback Nick Chubb, according to a Dawg Nation report.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Mr. Chubb tore the PCL in his left knee as well as two other knee ligaments in a game on Oct. 10.

 

2. Dr. Hancock practices at Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic and is the lead orthopedic surgeon for the UGA athletics department.

 

3. Dr. Andrews is the founding member of Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
