$14.5M Nebraska North Platte Health Pavilion opens with new spine center: 4 observations

The North Platte (Neb.) Health Pavilion opened in mid-October, according to North Platte Bulletin.

Here are four observations:

 

1. The facility has a laboratory and X-ray and expects the addition of a satellite pharmacy in January 2016.

 

2. The second floor of the building includes the spine center, neurology and pain management, as well as orthopedics and pediatrics.

 

3. The facility came about through a partnership between the physicians at the new facility and the Great Plains Health hospital.

 

4. The new building uses the Epic system, which will improve patient safety with secure information accessible by physicians and patients.
