1. Dr. Haskin began Coastal Orthopedic Associates in Myrtle Beach, S.C., 32 years ago with James W. Yates, MD.

 

2. He specializes in the hand and wrist, but also enjoyed plastic surgery.

 

3. Dr. Haskin performed more than 15,000 operations at his practice, which welcomed more than 300,000 patients.

 

4. Previously the president of the Southeastern Hand Club, Dr. Haskin also represented the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Medical Association.

 

5. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
