Orthopedic Surgeon to know: Dr. Mark Gebhardt of Boston Children’s Hospital

Mark Gebhardt, MD, practices at Boston Children’s Hospital and works in the orthopedic and hematology/oncology departments. Dr. Gebhardt’s specialties include bone and soft tissue tumors as well as hematology oncology.

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, he also serves as a professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

 

Dr. Gebhardt obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College in 1975. After earning his medical degree, he underwent an internship at University Health Center of Pittsburgh.

 

He completed his residency at Harvard Combined Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program and then finished an orthopedic oncology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
