Country Music Association donates $3M to Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt — 3 facts

The Country Music Association gave Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., $3 million, according to The Tennessean.

Here are three facts:

 

1. The hospital will use the funding to expand four floors, adding 160,000 square feet.

 

2. The expansion will add about 80 beds.

 

3. The hospital will offer neurosurgery, premature infant care, organ transplants and other critical care services in the expanded space.
